What is a Supervisor’s role at Stroud Homes?
NOTE: Depending on where you are, this role may also be known as Site supervisor, site manager or project manager.
Key Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Construction supervision: Manages on-site building work to ensure it meets building codes and Stroud Homes quality standards, with a specific focus on slab preparations and sound construction.
- Site management: Ensures sites are clean, tidy, and fully drained as well as managing site security and construction keys after the enclosed stage.
- Project delivery: Responsible for completing a target number of homes per month, maintaining build times, and achieving successful independent handover inspections.
- Customer communication: Conducts “Friday calls” to update clients on progress and holds site meetings to manage expectations and satisfaction.
Every role is also accountable for:
- Continuous improvement: Contributing to the Stroud Homes culture of Kaizen/continuous improvement
- Continuous learning: Participating in ongoing online and in-person training programs.
- System integrity: Proactively using Stroud Homes systems to improve performance.
- Daily communication: Submitting “Daily Wraps” to the team at the close of business each day.
